A reason to come
to work.
Home office made the gap plain: people kept the parts of the day they valued and quietly dropped the parts the office never really provided. The challenge for the modern workplace is no longer getting people to a desk, it's giving them a reason to come. daycrunch® exists to make the office worth coming to again.
Companies that keep great
people offer more than desks.
Offices sit half-empty. Teams are harder to bring together and harder to keep, and people who can work anywhere ask a fair question: why come in at all? A desk and a meeting room are not an answer, those exist at home too, without the commute.
We believe the future office wins not by fitting more desks into a building, but by helping people get more out of their day.
So daycrunch® puts the rest of a day, food, health, everyday services, people, and places to think and unwind, into the building people already travel to. Performance Buildings AG was founded to fix the building; daycrunch® is what happens when you fix the day on top of it. For an employer, that is the difference between space people tolerate and a place they choose.
The model is deliberately unglamorous underneath: smart access, automated systems, generous space, fair all-inclusive pricing. The technology disappears so the day can show up.
A simple human-needs lens.
When we decide what belongs in a building, we start from what a person actually needs from a day. People come back to places that meet more than one of these, so we design for all five.
A human-needs lens Performance Buildings uses to design its spaces.
An office gives you a desk, then sends you across the city for everything else: the gym, the doctor, a proper lunch, the people you would actually choose to see.
You travel to an office to sit at a desk; the rest of what a day needs is scattered across the city and pushed into the evening. A physiotherapy appointment costs half a day off. The gym is a second trip. Lunch is eaten alone. The errands wait until six.
Put those things in the building you already travel to, and the same journey buys a different day (work, a real lunch, a check-up, a class, a conversation worth having) with no second trip for each. A coffee area is the office's gesture at this. It is pleasant; it is not the same thing, and nobody picks it as the place they would most like to be.
Five layers, one
workplace system.
Each pillar of a daycrunch node answers one of those needs: Work for purpose; Care for wellbeing; Food and community for the social part of a day; Life services to give time back; and contribution through the community itself. Most locations start with Work and add the others as the building is upgraded.
Work
The foundation. Desks, coaching rooms, meeting and training spaces, private offices and enterprise floors, all-inclusive, automated, 24/7.
Food
Good coffee and a proper lunch shouldn't require leaving the building. Barista bar, fresh kitchen, self-service and catering, being piloted at our most developed location.
Life services
The errands that eat your evenings, handled where you already are: salon, smart lockers, dry cleaning, auto valet, concierge, childcare.
Care & performance
Health that fits into a workday instead of competing with it: physiotherapy, personal training, yoga, a GP, preventive and mental health.
Community & Culture
A reason to stay, and to bring people together: events, social spaces, a lounge and places to recharge. The shared experiences that turn colleagues into a team.
Four principles, in every building.
Whatever a location offers today, these don't change. They are how a daycrunch space is meant to feel, wherever you are.
Space, not density
We allocate roughly twice the area per person of standard co-working. Crowding is a business model; calm is a choice. We chose calm.
One price, all in
WiFi, beverages, screens, access, included. No drip-pricing, no surprise line items. You pay for time and space, nothing else.
Automated, so it's human
Technology removes the friction (registration, booking, doors) precisely so the day can be unhurried. The tech is invisible on purpose.
People who chose to be here
We welcome members with care because the people in a space define it. Everyone applied and was welcomed the same way.
Not every idea becomes
a permanent service.
We test new concepts in real buildings and learn from actual usage. Some become part of the standard offer. Some need the right operator or enough users. Some sound good on paper and fail in practice. Here is the honest state of a few of them.
Fitness facilities
Learning when and how people use movement during the working day.
Learning events
Courses, talks and training, already running at several locations.
Health services
Physiotherapy and predictive care, tested with external operators.
Childcare partnerships
Exploring support around the working day with specialist partners.
Food concepts
Working out where daily population supports a food operator.
Grocery collection
Testing whether picking up essentials in the building is worth it.
Visitor management
Digital visitor access, running across the network today.
Parking
App-managed parking, live in selected locations.
We write up what we learn, the wins and the misses, in Stories.
One node at a time.
We grow deliberately, proving each pillar at a flagship before rolling it across the network. Here's the honest state of play.
Work is live everywhere · first services in pilot
Every location offers the full range of workspace. The first food service is being piloted at tecdeck.work; life and care services at tecdeck.work and Airportal. Services are added building by building.
Care & Life arrive at the flagships
Physiotherapy, personal training and the first Life services (salon, smart lockers) open at Airportal and tecdeck.work, operated by independent practitioners working from daycrunch without their own premises.
Community spaces, and a fuller node across the network
The first community and culture spaces open, and the Care and Life layers extend to more locations as each building is upgraded toward a complete node.
More cities, the same standard
The model is built to travel. As the right buildings come along in the right places, the network grows, without diluting what makes a daycrunch day a daycrunch day.
Performance
Buildings AG.
daycrunch® is operated by Performance Buildings AG, a Swiss company whose work comes down to one line: when buildings work better, people have more time to live. It develops, runs and writes the software for buildings designed around the people inside them, not only the assets on a balance sheet.
Underneath every location is PB³, the software that runs the building itself: access, booking, billing, energy, parking. daycrunch® is the layer of rooms and services built on top. Because the building already handles access, booking and billing, it can run the rooms and services itself, which is how a single building starts to function like a small town.
daycrunch is the part you meet: the membership, the app, the welcome at the door. Performance Buildings is the system that makes an automated, all-inclusive, around-the-clock building actually work.
